Chances are if you know me then I have asked you if you own Birkenstocks
and if you said yes I probably asked to take pictures of your feet.
Well, I have a pretty good crew rounded up for the project, but at TC last night as I was talking about it I realized I knew someone else with birkies. Problem is...he's half way across the globe. SO someone suggested I ask if he would take them for me. We came to the conclusion (we being me, Anna, and Stacey) that Mr. Rice would probably enjoy such a project, asking random Germans to take pictures of his feet.
And then
Anna brought up the globe
and I died laughing.
We decided I should make a facebook group, I think it will be a winner
I'll call it
This is me doing an impression of the globe doing and impression of Anna doing an impression of Pierre doing an imression of Michel doing an impression of me
I wonder if that will fit...mabey I sould shorten it to
MIGIAIPIMIM
or maybe just
THE GLOBE!
I'm open to suggestions.
BTW
If you thought the hail fest was bad in town, be glad you wern't at the outlet malls. Aparenty it was softball size there and all my coworkers are now windowless. Prime was closed today due to extensive damage and debirise in the parking lot. I THINK the Gondala may have gone down.

Snow Patrol
I'm behind the times...Snow Patrol is releasing a new CD.
When did that happen?

I think that professors run a conspiricy, They cram all their test into the same week of eachother making it near impossible to study for them all and therefore your grades suffer. I think they want us to suck it up. Why else would I have 2 tests, lab final, 5 page research paper, and slide quiz all in the next 2 weeks...most of them are next week. WHY? DO YOU ALL HATE ME?
Yes.
And the best part is
my brain checked out somewhere back after spring break.
I think it would be in all sudents best intrest to just do away with testing in general. They should let us do interprative dances, or write emotinal poetry aboout what we've learned.
Just a thought...

CLAMP hates me...or TX, either way I can't see them
I am happy to report I have been working on my costume without interuption from law inforcement.

My favorite Manga-ka (artist) is CLAMP. They are a group of 4 women that create the most adorable and wonderfull stories and I love them. Today it was anounced that they are making their first US apperance.

Runin with the law
Ok so
I was working on one of my costumes for Shiokazecon. Now, when I work on things like that I tend to get into the zone, and won't stop till I'm done (or can no longer do anymore work due to a lack of supplies). So it was soon 2am and I was so close to being done. All I have left is to sew up the end of the zipper but I can't do it.
Wannaknow why?
So I'm sewing away and all of the sudden theres this knock on the door.
AND
I freak out.
at first I think it's just some drunk guys at the wrong apartment of something so I just freeze and wait. Another knock. OK I'm nervous now, so I get up and close the deadbolt (and look through the peep hole to see nothing). Another knock. So, I get up and hide in the bathroom. Another knock (and they're getting louder) SO I run, grab my phone, dial the police and go to the door to see who the hell was so desperate to get in. I never had to hit "talk" becuase low and behold the police were at my door. UM OK. Weird, WTF mate, why are the police at my door. Aparently someone thought my sewing was a disturbance. I've sewn late before, Stacey's sewn late before; why they decided now that it was too loud is beyond me. Well, the police are all
WHY DID IT TAKE YOU SO LONG TO ANSWER THE DOOR
and I was all I I I was nervous, I didn't know who it was
(and this is why I hate police officers)
WELL, you see these shiny badges and the lights, you can look through this thing and see them (in referance to the peep hole)
Seriously, I am not a moron, I am just a 21 year old FEMALE hearing male voices outside my door at 2 AM sorry If I'm scared out of my gourd. Thats what I thought in my head...I think I just noded and stared at them.
anyway
they tell me someone complained about a noise that came on and off periodicaly (and at that point it dawned on my it was my late nite craft session) and to stop and if it happens again I'll get a ticket.
I think they think I was high.

Basicaly I'd just like a little prayer.
This time of year is just hard for me, this is the point where things got rocky, the past few years I've had to deal with a lot and the climax for it all always seems to show up in spring.

Summer time is coming :D
First off
lets all take a moment and celebrate Thoughts Run Astray's 100th entry.
K NOW lets get on with this entry.
My summer plans are finaly begining to solidify and work themselves out (sort of). Today after checking my e-mail to find out there was no way I would be able to get into Multimedia I decided to check the summer II classes one more time to discover they had added a painting I class. SCORE! SO, even though I was originaly planing on taking 6 hours this summer, 3 is better then nothing AND summer II is definatly better then the Summer I class I'm currently enroled in. The only drawback.
Painting is at 8

I've also requested off a week and a half from work so I can mooch off my family at home. I'll be going home the 3rd of June for Lauren's graduation, be there till the 6th, come back the SanMar for the Rice wedding on the 9th and make a late night drive back to SLake to attend A-Kon in Dallas on Saturday and Sunday. THEN I'll stay in SLake for a week or so.
Now...to actualy make it to June
