  playdough Anyone remember that homeade playdough?
It's made out of salt and flour and water and it looks like it would be yummy, but OMG it tastes like crap. When I was a kid we never really played with it...but I sure made up for that tonight.

  the exciting adventure in retail after thanksgiving Do you know what they call the Friday after Thanksgiving?
Black Friday.
They call it that because it usualy puts busnesses back in the black in fainacial terms.
I think they call it that because it sounds like death.
AND I didn't even have to work on Black Friday.
I worked on Saturday and it still sucked.
Lets begin with Saturday morning. I was driving down Southlake Blvd. on the way to 35. AND This cop is blocking the street and detouring everyone. OH BOY I don't know where I'm going. That was fun. Also, it was raining all through Ft. Worth. I hat driving in the rain. SO I drive and drive and drive some more. I get back in SanMar at 3, unload the car and hit the road again to go to work.
They had closed off the exit to the mall. CLOSED IT. The way they had set up the trafic was ridiculous and it took 10 minutes just to get into the mall. Oh it was insane. The store was busy all day and then when It's time to close these people walk in and leasurly look around (I HATE when people do that D:)And then 30 minutes after close this guy tries to get us to open the store back up for him, flashing a wad of cash as a bargining chip.
No dice buddy, no dice.

NOW, my question is WHY? Why there is nothing that amazing that makes it worth all that pain to brave the crowds. The prices arn't that great. Att our store they down right suck. The sale a week ago was better then it is now. :|

  There are some really good things about going home... 1) Degrassi: The next generation. Oh the agnsty teen drama. I'm addicted and I can't watch it in San Marcos. When I come home I watch it any chance I get. It's better than any other teen drama becuase they arn't all pretty and stupid. Well...they wern't. They kind of are now but they've already hooked me in. OC ain't got nothing on these crazy canadians
2) Queen Sized Bed. Period.
3) I don't have to buy anything. Food, free, entertainment, free, other stuff...free. Awsome. I'm going to get to see 2 movies while I'm here, thats like normaly my entertainment budget for the month ): (I'm exagerating slightly there)
4) Pets! I can smother the 3 dogs and 2 cats in all the love and affection I bottle up for adorable furry things. They eat it up.


Man...that was stupid.
But, I just wasted 3 minutes typing it so you all have to suffer through it now.

  respect the turkey foo o:< It's that time of year again.
My annual Not Christmas Time Yet rant.
What was the straw this time?
They have chirstmas lights set up on the apartment buildings...well some of them. One of them is mine. If I could figure out where they were pluged in I would try and unplug them.

See, there is a simple rule here, ANYTHING Christmas should not be indulged in until the day after Thanksgiving. No music, decorations, baking, movies, eggnog...
How do you think thanksgiving feels? Halloween comes and by the end of october they have christmas trees for sale at wal-mart. Stores dawn festive lights and wreaths. They play christmas music. THEY DRIVE ME INSANE.

I love Christmas to death, but only in the aloted time...If you start celebrating to early it looses it's magic. Plus, we don't want a turky revolt.

  master of carpentry o: So, today I mastered the craft of carpentry(read: I used a nail gun and a saw thingy...) See, for 3-D design I have to build a chair that is reflective of a movie. I picked aladin's flying carpet. Basicaly, I had to build the base in the woodshop. Powertools scare me. I don't know why, I can use a sewing machine, a stove, a xacto...all potentialy life threatining (read: could maybe cause a minor injury) BUT powertools, eww.
It didn't help the situation that yesterday I waited outside of the woodshop for an hour for Tom (read: master of powertools)and he never showed up. D: Dude, where the crap were you?
The wood part is over now thankgoodness. Now all I have left is a coat of paint and glueing the rug to the base.
Who wants a flying carpet when I'm done?

  leather kills! (my social life) So, it must be getting closer to Christmas becuase they are schedualing me all weekend now at work. I thought it was just becuase I took the weekend off last weekend to go home, but I'm schedualed for Friday and Saturday night this week too. And that makes me wonder, when will I have time to do fun stuff?
Like, I still need to take Kim out for her birthday, but I can't becuase they keep making me work.
and, I need to see Chicken Little. (yes, NEED)
Also, I wonder when I will have time to do my homework.
Like tonight I spent the evening in the computer lab. Oh was that fun.

But they didn't schedual me at all during the week...
Now, if I can find people who A) want to see Chicken Little, and B) Have nothing to do on a weeknight...

  *crash* So I think I must emit some sort of automobile pharamones or something. Tonight I was driving home from walmart, waiting to mearge onto the frontage road. It was dark, and hard to tell if I had an opening. Thought I did, realized I didn't. Aplied breaks...it was all good. 5 seconds later I hear that all too familiar crash, feel my car lurch forward and realize I have just been rear ended. Again.
Holy freaking crap, would you all stop hitting me!
I don't think much happened besided a few scratches...I'm waiting till tomorrow to asses the damage, when the sun is out.
Oh, and then as I was at the intersection of the frontage and Aquerina and I was in the center lane, the one that you can turn or go straight from, the guy in the right lane (the one you can only go straight from) decided the rules didn't aply to him and totaly cut me off. Hey, if your going to break the law, at least give me a turn signle so I know it's coming. So, I nearly ran into him.

I think I'll swear off driving for a while...
